Asleep

July 26, 2010

This is a song parody made by Sylvia. It is to the tune of "Broken," but this is called "Asleep." Do we have some Bryce Soderberg inspiration here? You be the judge!

The broken clock is a comfort. It lets me sleep today.
Maybe I'll wake up tomorrow, when it isn't cold and gray.
And I am here still sleeping through my clock alarm.
It is damaged at best, 'cause I pounded it to harm.

I'm falling asleep, I'm barely waking
From a sleep so deep, I'm not shaking,
And the beep is not breaking.
Not a peep...

Welcome To My Site!

July 26, 2010

Welcome everyone to my brand new Lifehouse fansite and thank for stopping by! I've known for a while that I wanted a website to call my own, but never quite knew what I wanted it to be. I was talking on Twitter about this and someone told me to make one about Lifehouse. I said well, since they are my favorite band, why not? This isn't your regular fansite, however. There's not going to be regular posts of the latest news (though if want that, they will be posted in the "News" forum). What I'm...

"The Bloke"

July 25, 2010

This is a song parody of "The Joke" called "The Bloke." Obviously it's a tribute to Ben Carey. I thought this concept would be PERFECT but I was having some trouble coming up with the lyrics. And he is one in a million
Whoa
The Bloke is so cool

T...

shinesilently:

“Hold on and take a breath,
I’ll be here every step, walking between the raindrops with you
We’re better than alright”

I wonder how Lifehouse always manages to come up with songs that fit my life perfectly at the time they come out. It took me a long time to get here, but now I’m finally with someone who makes me happier than anything and who loves me as much as I love him and this song made me realize that even more :)

Between The Raindrops, it was just a beautiful accident. The lyrics to me, are kind of this romantic notion you can kinda have calmness right in the middle of extreme chaos. The story of the song talks about two people who feel like as long as they have each other, they can kinda make it through anything.
